I am currently on maternity leave from my job as a flight attendant, and for the first time since I was 16 years old, I find myself unable to work. I have always been someone who provided for myself and my family, but now, with a newborn at home, things have changed in ways I never expected. I have been searching for a job that would allow me to spend time with my baby, but so far, I haven’t had any luck. It breaks my heart that I can’t find a way to provide for us, and it’s even harder knowing I don’t have anyone to watch my daughter so I can work. Flying isn’t an option right now because she’s so small, I am breastfeeding, and I have no one to help care for her. I was also flying for Spirit Airlines and the company shut down as of 05/02 so I am now jobless.

This is a big struggle for me, and it’s difficult to ask for help. The funds raised here will go directly toward our daily living expenses—things like rent, groceries, and baby supplies—until I am able to find at least a part-time job that fits our needs. Every little bit helps, and your support would mean the world to us during this challenging time.
