Chris and Tiffany Spies’ family, my stepdaughter and grandkids, were involved in a devastating three-car accident at the intersection of Highway 65 and BB. Tiffany, the mother, was driving with her three children—Evan (6), Donovan (8), and Aiden (16)—when the crash occurred. All three kids were life flighted to Kansas City, and their injuries are severe. Evan is in the ICU with a traumatic brain injury, Donovan has a broken jaw in three places and has undergone surgery to wire and plate it, and Aiden was severely concussed and broke a rib. The family is facing an unimaginable challenge as they support their children through this traumatic experience.

The funds raised will help cover the mounting medical expenses at Children’s Mercy Hospital, as well as future recovery and rehabilitation needs for the kids. With school starting soon, the children’s education and daily routines will be deeply affected. The family is unable to work as needed due to the kids’ recovery and rehab, so donations will also help with living expenses during this difficult time. Your support will make a real difference in helping the Spies family focus on healing and recovery.

A tragedy has occurred at a family level, impacting little kids that attend Lincoln school in Lincoln, Missouri. The little kids need a lot of loving care, medical needs, and recovery and rehab. This is a traumatic experience no kid should endure. We want to hear the laughter and joy again of happy, healthy kids that was pre-wreck normal days. It’s going to take a lot to get there, so we are asking for support to help the Spies family and most importantly the kids impacted by this accident.
