Sophie is a young, beautiful, and kind-hearted woman whose life was forever changed by a senseless act of violence. While attending a memorial service for a peer who had been tragically killed in a car accident, Sophie was shot twice in the back. One bullet remains lodged in her spine, severing her spinal cord and leaving her paralyzed from the waist down.

In the years since the shooting, Sophie has faced challenges that extend far beyond her physical injuries. She continues to navigate ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and the lasting effects of trauma.
