Our hearts are heavy as we share that sweet Sophia’s cancer (rhabdomyosarcoma) has metastasized. Scott and Jennifer are now walking through every family’s worst nightmare. Sophia is such a bright light—a girl who loves being a big sissy to baby Charlotte, coloring pictures, spending time with family, and Disney princesses. Jen and Scott are such giving people—to their girls, their family, and their friends. Seeing Sophia face this battle is heartbreaking, to say the least.

Right now, Scott and Jennifer’s only focus should be on Sophia and being present with her—loving on her and spending as much time together as a family. Both Scott and Jennifer have limited paid leave, and as they prioritize Sophia’s care, their living and medical expenses are mounting.
