Everyone who knows Anna and Ev knows how kind, generous, and thoughtful they are to everyone they meet. They’ve done an incredible job raising three amazing children. However, right now, they are facing every parent’s worst nightmare —Sophia, age 10, has been diagnosed with leukemia (B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia).

In a matter of moments, their entire world has changed. What should be a time filled with watching their children grow has turned into hospital visits, treatments, and overwhelming uncertainty about the future. Sweet Sophia will be undergoing chemotherapy for the next 2.5 years—a long and difficult road ahead she will have to endure.

On top of this, Anna And Ev are also caring for a 3-year-old toddler and a 3-month-old newborn. With the demands of treatment and the need to be there every step of the way, Anna and Ev will have to make extremely tough choices that will impact their family as a whole and create an even greater financial strain in order to give Sophia the support she desperately needs. Between the loss of income, rising medical bills, and the everyday costs of caring for their family, the burden is simply too much for any family to carry alone.
