Our incredible mama, Sonia Maura Cano, has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering devotion. She endured a long, painful battle with lupus — a cruel illness that slowly took its toll and ultimately led to her passing. But through it all, she fought with grace and strength, never allowing her struggle to define her.

She was the heart of our family — a selfless supermom who always put her children first. Her grandchildren gave her more reasons to smile, laugh, and keep fighting. She adored them deeply and found renewed purpose in every hug, every giggle, every moment spent together.

Mama loved her nieces, nephews, siblings, and extended family with all her heart. She leaves behind her beloved mother, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. For her, family was everything.

Her love reached far beyond people. She had a soft spot for animals and a tender touch when it came to the holidays. Christmas was her masterpiece — a time when she transformed our home into something magical. Her decorations were so stunning, we always said they belonged on Etsy. She was an artist at heart — expressive, creative, and full of wonder.

Though life often weighed heavily on her, she became a master of grace. She carried unimaginable pain behind the scenes, yet wrapped it in smiles and joy to protect those she loved.
