My dear friend, maiban and one time business partner has been diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer. Sone lives in Vientiane, Laos, a third world country where there is no public health system and medical treatment is substandard. Sone has never smoked a day in her life and works very hard. The average wage in Laos is US$25 a week. We need to raise the money for Sone to travel to Thailand where she can get the medical treatment and Chemotherapy she so desperately needs.
