This is Snitch. She's a beautiful Corgi, a certified 'good girl' and lives with her brother Albus and humans Jacqui and Glenn.
Snitch has recently given her humans a scare, with a five day stay at the Emergency Vet Hospital over Easter. After multiple tests, x-rays, ultrasounds and a blood transfusion, Snitch has been diagnosed with Primary Immune-Mediated Thrombocytopenia, which is an auto-immune disease. There are still tests being undertaken to determine whether there are other things contributing to her health issues, but she is finally back home. Snitch will be on medication for the foreseeable future and her lifestyle will need to be adjusted to keep her safe and comfortable.
In short, she's a very sick girl.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to provide Jacqui and Glenn with financial support with vet bills and any ongoing costs associated with Snitch's medical requirements.
The tests required to diagnose Snitch's condition, as well as her stay at the vet have already incurred more than $2500 in costs. It is anticipated that the overall cost will be at least double this.
As any pet lover or doggo owner would understand, having a sick pup is a really scary time. If you're able to chip in, your support would mean the world and will help facilitate Snitch's recovery.
Thank you so much!
