Support for Snader family

Update : April 22nd. We know now it is a grade 4 glioblastoma. Dwayne will have 6 weeks of chemo and radiation. Chemo is everyday and radiation is 5 days a week. After that it will be on and off for about 6 months minimum. As you can imagine, this is heart breaking and unreal for him, venessa, the kids and his whole family. Funds are getting tough as he cannot work right now ( obviously) and neither can venessa with multiple appointments a day. They really could use any help right now.

Update march 4th. The results came back on the tumor. It is a glioma tumor and most likely cancerous. He will be getting surgery tomorrow the 5th at 2 pm. The tumor is 4 cm. They will take out as much as they can and stop if it gets too close to his motor skills. If they cannot remove the entire thing, he will get radiation and chemo to attack the rest of it. They know it's close to his motor skills as it's already affecting it. The surgery will last about 6 hours. We don't know how long recovery will be yet. We need all the prayers and support we can get.

I'm raising money for my sister's (Venessa) family. My brother-in-law, Dwayne (37), has recently been hospitalized because they found a tumor in his brain. He is the main breadwinner and they have 4 children: Mariah (14), Olivia (12), Jeremiah (10 in 2 days), and Josiah (3).

For the past couple of months, the left side of his body has gone numb and slowly gotten worse. He works for Waste Management, driving trash trucks, and obviously cannot drive while partially numb. This past weekend, my sister took him to the hospital where they did a CT scan and found out he had a mass in his brain. They then sent him to a bigger hospital where they confirmed with an MRI that he has a tumor on the back right part of his brain. We don't know how big it is or if it's cancerous or not. He will undergo a procedure to test the tissue and then his team of doctors will go from there. They did say it will have to be removed no matter what. He is currently in the Neurology ICU.

This is obviously hard on him, my sister, and their kids. So I set this up to hopefully help cover medical costs, rent, and necessities because it looks like he will be out of work for a couple of months at least. We appreciate any help and any prayers you can send his way. I will update this page as much as possible. Thank you.
