It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Skyler, a courageous 15-year-old who fought valiantly his entire life. Skyler was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), a condition that required multiple open-heart surgeries, countless hospital stays, and unimaginable resilience.

Despite facing strokes, the loss of function of one of his lungs, organ failure and endless medical complications, Skyler faced life with unmatched bravery. His journey took a turn when he suffered a heart attack on the playground. From there, his health continued to decline, ultimately leading to a brief time in hospice care before passing unexpectedly at home.

Skyler's family is now enduring the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye to their beloved son. On top of grieving, they are facing the overwhelming financial burden of end-of-life care, funeral expenses, and the loss of income during this difficult time.
