hello, my name is Skylar. I never imagined I’d be making something like this, as I try my hardest not to ask for help, but today my family and I lost everything we owned in an apartment fire.

While me, my daughter, my boyfriend, and our cats thankfully made it out safely, we lost absolutely everything. We no longer have clothes, food, or a home to return to. We lost family photos, years of collectibles, and stuff we cannot replace from family members we no longer have. My 6 year old daughter lost all of her belongings, including the Christmas gifts she had just received a few weeks ago and was so excited about. She also lost her medication in the fire, which has been incredibly stressful and overwhelming.

right now we are staying in a hotel but not sure what we are supposed to do after. Any donations will go toward immediate necessities like clothing, food, medication replacement, basic household items, and supplies for our cats, as well as helping us secure stable housing again.
