Support for Single Mother During Her Fight

I never imagined I would be writing something like this.

Recently, my life was stopped in its tracks with a cancer diagnosis. I was first diagnosed with uterine (endometrial cancer) with the first biopsy which was stage one . I then had a biopsy of my cervix which progressed it to stage 2 since the cancer spread . In addition, I am battling stage 5 endometriosis, stage 3 adenomyosis, multiple fibroids, and ovarian cysts that cause severe daily pain. Since then, my world has been filled with nonstop appointments, testing, procedures, and now preparation for a major surgery scheduled for March 17th — a total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy.

This surgery will require a recovery period of approximately 6–12 weeks, depending on the outcome. My right ovary will be removed definitely , and my surgeon will attempt to preserve my left to help avoid surgical menopause, as I am only 31. Unfortunately, my left ovary has not been able to be properly evaluated through imaging, so many decisions will ultimately be made during surgery. There are still many unknowns, and right now I am taking this one appointment at a time.

As a self-employed, single mother who has always worked hard and handled things independently, this has been one of the most difficult seasons of my life — physically, emotionally, and financially. If I am unable to work, there is no income coming in. On top of everything, ongoing car issues have added another layer of stress during an already overwhelming time.

This is not easy for me to share. I understand everyone has their own challenges, and I kindly ask for grace and positivity as I navigate this journey. I am doing the very best I can with what I am facing.

My children are my greatest strength. They are my reason to keep fighting and my motivation to push forward, no matter how hard this road becomes. I am learning that strength does not always mean doing everything alone — sometimes it means allowing others to stand beside you.

If you are able to donate, share, or send prayers and positive thoughts, it would mean more than I can express. Even if you are unable to give, sharing this may help it reach someone who can. Every bit of support — big or small — reminds me that I am not fighting this battle alone.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being part of my fight. ❤️
