I’m not one to ask for financial assistance, however, my sister is a single mother and the sole provider for my nephew. In recent weeks, she has been without work. Since then, she has been actively looking for work elsewhere, which has been a struggle in its own. While already stressing about how she would not only pay bills in the upcoming weeks, but also provide a Christmas for Elliot, she began experiencing severe chest and abdominal pain, including trouble breathing. After rushing to the ER Wednesday night, she was admitted for an extended stay after they found an infection within her digestive system, having her on around-the-clock antibiotics and pain medication. As of right now, she is staying until at least Sunday with the possibility of a lengthier stay, and will be on temporary bed rest upon release.

Her main focus remains how she is going to provide Elliot with a Christmas, as well as keep a roof over their head until she is able to return to her job search. As her family, we are going to help provide what we can, but as many of us are, most of us are stretched thin, especially through the season. Her main focus needs to be recovery, while not stressing about the rest. If you are able, I ask that you please strongly consider helping.
