This just happened.

One of our neighbors lost her home to a fire today. Everything is gone. Their home, all belongings, and tragically, their family dog.

She is a single mom to two boys, ages 10 and 14, and is currently at the hospital right now with one of her sons. She is also on kidney dialysis, and the fire destroyed all of her medical equipment and necessities.

They did not have time to save anything.

At this moment, they are overwhelmed, displaced, and trying to process something no family should ever have to face. I am asking — from the bottom of my heart — for our community to come together for them.

Right now, any and all help is needed:

• Medical-related essentials

• Gift cards

• Prayers, support, and shares

I will update as soon as we know the safest and best way to get donations to her, but please share this post now so it reaches as many people as possible.

This is not the way we wanted to bring in the new year, but I know our community is strong, compassionate, and capable of showing up when it matters most.
