In Loving Memory of Guillermo Silva

Hi, my name is Andrea Silva, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart on behalf of my mom, my sister, and myself. We recently and very suddenly lost the most important man in our lives—our beloved father and husband, Guillermo Silva.

Guillermo was a hardworking, loving, and incredibly caring man. He wasn’t just the pillar of our family—he was a pillar in our community. Always ready to lend a hand, offer a kind word, or go the extra mile to support someone in need, my dad lived a life full of generosity and love. His heart was big, his smile was warm, and his presence brought comfort to everyone who knew him.

On what started as just another workday in Point Reyes, he began feeling a sudden headache. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered he had suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. In the midst of treatment, he went into cardiac arrest. Despite over an hour of CPR, the loss of oxygen to his brain and the internal bleeding were too severe. His passing has left a void in our lives that words cannot begin to describe.

We are now facing the unimaginable—planning a funeral for the man who held our family together. With only the three of us—my mom, my sister, and me—trying to navigate this pain and sudden financial burden, we are reaching out for help.
