Support for Sia Wilson & Family
Donation protected
8/10/18

Sia Wilson is 3 1/2 years old and was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), which was caused by one of her chemo drugs from her previous treatment of a clear-cell sarcoma in her kidney. For her treatment, Sia will have to stay in the hospital for multiple rounds of chemo that last about 1 month per cycle and she will also need a bone marrow transplant very soon.
We wanted to start this GoFundMe page to help the family with the expenses that incur during her treatment and stay in the hospital. This includes medical expenses, as well as child care costs (for her little sister Sabine, who is 4 months old) and food and travel, etc. We also want to raise awareness and have people sign up to be a bone marrow donor through BetheMatch.org to see if they are a match (FB link below).
Thanks to everyone for your support!

Jamie Prevost Wilson (her mother) posted this note on Facebook when they found out the diagnosis:
I’ve held off posting this until we could learn all we could about exactly what kind of leukemia Sia had, but we now know it is AML caused by one of her chemo drugs from her first bout with cancer and we will definitely be needing a bone marrow donor for a necessary transplant in the next month or so. If you or anyone you know has similar racial makeup as Sia please let me know and we can have them tested to see if they’re a match. She is Caucasian, Filipino and African American. Please keep Sia in your thoughts and prayers as she’s in for a huge fight ♥️ #Siastrong
