❤️Update: We have decided to stop accepting donations at this time because we received what was needed to cover burial expenses. They wouldn’t have wanted us to accept anything that wasn’t necessary. If you still wish to donate for future expenses such as legal fees and their debts that need to be settled, please reach out to me via Facebook. Thank you, again, from the absolute depths of our souls, as Memaw and Pawpaw are now laid to rest and at peace.❤️
My name is Alicia LaSalle, the eldest grandchild of Shirley and Weston Hebert. On Monday, June 2nd, I lost both of my grandparents to a house fire. My mother, her brothers, and her sister lost both of their parents at the same time, in one of the most horrific and tragic ways possible. Shirley and Weston Hebert of Kaplan, Louisiana were two of the most religiously devout, genuine, and compassionate people you could have met. Weston was also a veteran who served our country as a Sergeant in the US Air Force. They loved their children, grand children, and great grand children with every ounce of their being, as well as their love for one another. My grandfather’s last moments were spent trying to get my grandmother out of the house through the back door and to safety. My family is now faced with not only the expenses of one, but two funeral services, as well as debts that are being uncovered. Any and all donations will help defray the costs of funeral/memorial services, attorney fees, residual debts, and any other expenses that we may experience. As the responsible party for their final affairs and arrangements, I can assure that any remaining funds will be equally dispersed to their four children, equally, as they have stated in their finals wills. I deeply, deeply appreciate your prayers and thoughts during this extremely difficult time in our lives, and your donations will alleviate some of the immense amount of stress that we are currently facing. Thank you and so much love to all of you ❤️
