Support for Sheyla

Sheyla Resendiz is a junior AVID student at San Luis Obispo High School and she has been chosen to participate in a ACLU leadership conference this summer in Washington DC. Sheyla is a first generation American, she currently works two jobs and still finds time to participate in leadership and volunteer for the Boys and Girls Club. Sheyla isn't sure what she wants to major in at college but she knows she wants to be in an industry where she can help people who cannot help themselves and she hopes this ACLU conference will help her learn skills that will allow her to do just that.
