Support for Sherry

My beautiful friend is an amazing wife and mother. SHE DOES IT ALL!! Sherry does not complain and always seems to have endless energy to help others. However, she is now the one needing our help.
For a couple of months Sherry would mention having fatigue, body aches, stomach pain, and bloating.  As with most busy people this didn't alarm Sherry enough to have her running to her doctor's office.  Fortunately, Sherry had a routine check-up with her General Practitioner and briefly mentioned some of her symptoms. Within a week Sherry, her husband, and two young boys were informed she had a tumor on one of her ovaries.  After a couple of trips to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, numerous tests, and surgery, Doctors have discovered Sherry's cancer originated in her GI tract. Sherry was officially diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP).  The tumors on her ovaries are due to the cancer spreading.  PMP is a very rare type of cancer that usually begins in your appendix as a small growth. It is also known to start in other parts of the bowel, the ovary or bladder. This polyp eventually spreads through the wall of your appendix or wherever else it starts. It then spreads cancerous cells to the lining of the abdominal cavity.
  As of right now, treatment will likely include surgery to remove the cancer, hysterectomy, and chemotherapy.  If form of treatment changes, I will be sure to post an update. Sherry's family has already felt the impact financially and I pray we can come together to not only donate financially but also bring love and prayer to Sherry and her family.
