Support a Single Mother’s Battle For Her Life!!

My Name is Camille, and I am Shara’s (Sheaya’s little sister) best friend since 5th grade! I have known Sheaya almost my entire life. Sheaya was admitted to UCSD ICU for covid pneumonia on a ventilator. She is now currently on ECMO as well, which is full lung life support.

Sheaya is a single mom of 3 children; Kiana (17) Kowen (13) Kyler (9) and they are her entire world! Unfortunately, because all of this happened so quickly and unexpectedly Sheaya did not have time to get her affairs in order or get a power of attorney so her family can not access any of her accounts and they are trying to keep a float financially as well as support her kids during this time .

They are dealing with so much already that the last thing they should be worrying about is finances. They are keeping faith that Sheaya will pull through all of this and they do not want to lose her home etc. if they can avoid it. They have contacted her loan servicer to try to get covid relief but unfortunately without a power of attorney they were told that they could not have her payments deferred during this time. Which is crazy to me that someone on life support due to covid that can’t talk and is in a medically induced coma can’t get the relief they need.

I have decided to step in to try to take some of this burden off of their family. These donations will be used to take some of the financial burden off of them as well as meals, bills and financial comfort for her children’s needs during this time if so much uncertainty.  This is an amazing family and any one of them would give you the shirt off their back or step up to help others in need whenever possible. I’m sure many of you have been recipients of their love and generosity, so let’s show them the love they have always shown to others and support them in this overwhelming and tragic time. This is going to be a long journey and the amount of medical debt, and financial burden they are facing is great. Please help support this deserving mom.
