Support for Shayla Wells' Funeral & Family Healing

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

With heavy hearts, we share the devastating loss of Shayla Wells, who passed away suddenly on February 23rd at just 23 years old. Her family and community are shattered by this tragedy, made even more painful as we are still grieving the loss of her younger sister (Tonya), who passed away four years ago.

Growing up in Calgary, Shayla was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her—full of love, laughter, and kindness. She had dreams, ambitions, and a heart that cared deeply for those around her. Losing her so unexpectedly has left us not only heartbroken but also struggling in so many ways!

We are asking for support to help cover the costs of a beautiful funeral service to honor her life. Your generosity will allow us to celebrate her memory in a way that reflects the love and joy she brought to this world. In addition, to provide whatever support her younger brother will require. Any contribution, big or small, will mean the world to us as we navigate this unimaginable trauma and grief.
