Support for Shawntel and Jordan

Jordan and Shawntel set off on a cruise last week to celebrate their 20 year wedding anniversary today, January 18th. Yesterday, their cruise ship ported in St. Maarten, where they disembarked to enjoy the beach. As Shawntel stayed ashore, Jordan was in the water, which was rougher than usual, due to some local storms the previous couple of days. Unfortunately, a wave was too powerful, and threw Jordan to the ocean floor, breaking his neck. As a first in many miracles, he was not paralyzed and was able to make it back to shore where he found help from others, who also located Shawntel. An ambulance took them to the hospital there where they confirmed the break with an MRI. Due to the instability of the break, they must transfer Jordan back to America via a medically equipped aircraft with medical personnel on board. While they are so overwhelmingly grateful for the prayers and miracles that have been sent their way, the bills of this accident are accumulating to overwhelming amounts, and insurance is unavailable to assist with most of it. At this time, Shawntel and Jordan thank everyone for their support, love, and faith as they have felt it during this experience. They are grateful for any help that you give and thank you ahead of time for the miracles that each of you are in contributing to help relieve this financial burden during this extremely stressful and scary tragedy. We will keep everyone updated and are so blessed for the angels watching over our family, you all here on Earth and those unseen.
