My grandson Shawn was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma brain cancer at just four and a half years old. He bravely underwent brain surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, and has been NED—no evidence of disease—since 2019. To support his recovery, his family sold their home in California and moved to South Carolina for a more affordable life and stability.
Recently, a new spot has appeared in Shawn’s brain and has been slowly growing. Doctors now recommend a biopsy and further treatment, but the location—in his Thalamus—makes it especially risky. The family hopes to pursue holistic treatments and may need to travel to see specialists, which comes at a significant cost.
If you’re able to help in any way, our family would be deeply grateful. Every donation, share, prayer, and kind word means so much to us as we face this new challenge. Your support will help give Shawn the best chance at healing and ease some of the financial stress on our family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us.
