My name is Shawn, and I am reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. I recently turned 51 in October, and I never thought I would be here today, sharing that I have metastatic breast cancer.

My third and final chapter of my breast cancer journey which started back in 2007 shortly after giving birth to my son.

I know this time she’s got me. She’s got me in my bones and my lungs. She’s got me good this time!

Due to my prognosis, I’m no longer able to work, which makes my financial situation quite dire. My rent my cell phone, my Internet, my car insurance groceries all require some sort of income, which at the time I do not have I’m hoping there’s someone out there that can help. I have no way of knowing how long this is gonna go on for could be months it could be years. I’m just trying to think about today.

I’m really just living to die and the battle is one I will not win as MBC is not curable!
