Support for Shauna, Christian, and Sophia
Donation protected
Update: On behalf of Shauna and the kids I want to say thank you to everyone who donated, brought food, or just there. It was greatly appreciated. This has been a difficult time and they have a long road ahead of them. Please continue to keep them in your prayers
On March 25th, early in the morning, my uncle unexpectedly passed away at the very young age of 38 from liver failure. His wife and children—Shauna, Christian, and Sophia—are devastated, to say the least. No one should have to bury their loved one at such a young age.
If you knew my uncle, you knew him for his smile, the endless jokes, and that laugh that I can still hear. He was a loving father, husband, brother, and uncle. My uncle loved his kids more than anything in the world. He loved coaching Christian's hockey team and teaching him how to golf. They were always riding quads or racing RC cars. Sophia was the apple of his eye; she definitely had him wrapped around her finger. He loved his family more than anything and was always there when they needed him.
My Aunt Shauna is understandably shocked by this loss and unfortunately not prepared for all that goes along with planning and funding a funeral at this time. His youngest is only 7 years old. They want to give their "daddy" a proper and well-deserved burial. All contributions will be used for funeral costs and to support his family. If you can find it in your heart to donate, it would be so appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please take a second to share and please keep these kids in your loving prayers during this difficult time. Thank you and God bless you.
