Support for Shaun Ramey & His Family After A Devastating Car Accident
Posted by: Ashley Sicard
As some of you may have heard, Shaun was in a car accident on Father’s Day, June 15, 2025. His vehicle collided with a tree on Lancaster Ave in Lunenburg. We are so grateful for the highly trained first responders, their quick assessment of the severity of his injuries was crucial in avoiding additional damage, they were able to remove the roof of the car and get him safely onto the life flight to UMass Worcester.
Shaun lives in Lunenburg MA with his wife Shealeigh Blood-Ramey and their two little boys: Shamus (3) & Shiloh (1). He is a hard worker and takes pride in supporting his family, he has been with S&S Concrete as a saw cutter and wall crew for several years. When he isn’t working, he is spending time with his family, taking Shamus & Shiloh fishing down at Whalom Lake after he gets home from work, golfing with his family and friends and is always working on projects and donating his time to help others.
Shaun has several fractures in his neck and upper back, broken ribs and is currently paralyzed from his torso down, a successful 4-hour surgery allowed his medical team to stabilize the injuries with rods. We are praying that with time and healing; the swelling will go down and the impact of the injuries will be reduced. He is now facing a long and uncertain road to recovery, with extensive medical treatment and physical therapy ahead. Shaun’s injuries have not only taken a physical toll but have also turned daily life upside down for his young family. His wife is doing everything she can to keep things together while caring for their two little ones, but the emotional and financial strain is overwhelming.
This is going to be a long road to recovery and any help would be very much appreciated, providing some needed breathing room financially while he recovers from his injuries. Any contribution will make a big difference for this family during a time of tragedy. We believe in the power of prayer! From the bottom of our hearts — thank you. Let’s rally around Shaun and show him he’s not alone in this journey.
