In Memory of Shaun K. Nason
It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Shaun Nason on August 20, 2025. Shaun was a skilled master plumber who operated Shaun K. Nason Plumbing and Heating in Marlboro, Massachusetts, before relocating to Vermont in 2022, where he worked as a plumber at The Lodge at Spruce Peak in Stowe.
Shaun leaves behind his beloved wife and best friend, Dawn Parker-Nason, and two sons, Parker and Tucker Holcomb. As the family's primary provider, Shaun's sudden passing has created significant financial hardship during this already difficult time. Without substantial life insurance coverage, Dawn and the boys are facing considerable challenges ahead.
We are establishing this GoFundMe to support Shaun's family during their time of greatest need. Every contribution, regardless of size, along with your kind words and memories, will provide meaningful assistance to Dawn and the boys. All proceeds will go directly to the family.

Remembering Shaun
Shaun was a vibrant soul whose infectious laughter (especially the laughter), boundless love, and radiant spirit touched everyone who knew him. He was a devoted friend in recovery with 20 years of sobriety, a dedicated martial artist who earned the honor of black belt, and a passionate Boston Bruins fan whose enthusiasm was unmatched.
Whether you called him NaSON, NASON, Shaved Bird, Boys, or Shaun, you know that he was loved by so many! So many people called him their friend! He will be missed beyond belief, but I know he is in Heaven making everybody laugh!
Whether it was a plumbing issue, ride, phone call, or help with a project, Shaun always made himself available to his friends and family.
Shaun is survived by his wife Dawn and stepsons Parker and Tucker; his mother Cynthia Bodge Carr; his father George Nason and stepmother Penny; siblings Jennifer Nason Zaparaskas (Mark Foss), Michael Nason Jennifer), and Erin Nason Presutti (Luis); mother-in-law Elizabeth Parker; brother-in-law Gregory Parker; and many beloved nieces and nephews; and his loyal German Shepherd, Achilles. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Robert Parker.
Thank you for keeping Shaun's family in your thoughts and for any support you can provide during this challenging time.
