Support for Shannon Quinn and Family

Shannon Quinn was involved in a serious accident on Friday, September 3rd while babysitting in Kiawah, SC. She and the little girl in her care were riding a bike when they were run over by a dump truck. Thankfully the little girl’s injuries were not life threatening, and after surgeries to repair her hand, she’s been released to recover with her parents in Charlotte, NC.

Shannon sustained multiple serious injuries and is currently in the ICU at MUSC hospital in Charleston, SC where she’s getting the care she needs. And she’ll need to remain there until she’s stable enough to return to her home near Charlotte for rehab.

Shannon had just started as a freshman at the College of Charleston. Her daily life will now be quite different, but she will be strong and remain her positive and friendly self during the long road ahead in her recovery.
