Help Support the Family of Missing Brother Shahanur Alam Sabuj

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, our dear brother Shahanur Alam Sabuj went missing while fishing near West Grantline Road and Midway Road, just west of Mountain House, California. Before leaving that morning, Shahanur told his wife he would return home to Manteca by noon—but tragically, he never came back.

After days of search efforts, we are heartbroken to share that Shahanur’s body has been found. We ask everyone to keep him in your prayers and remember his family during this incredibly difficult time.

Shahanur was a devoted husband and the loving father of a 7-year-old son, Safwaan. Originally from Bogura, Bangladesh, he came to the United States with hopes of building a better future for his family. Through hard work and dedication, he supported his wife, Mousumi Aktar, and their son, working tirelessly to provide them with stability and opportunity.

His sudden and tragic passing has left his family in deep grief and facing a serious financial hardship. Shahanur was the sole provider for his household, and his loss has created an immediate and urgent need for support.

Their Immediate Needs

• Housing: The family’s monthly rent in Manteca is $3,500, and without income, they are at risk of losing their home.

• Daily Living Expenses: Food, utilities, and other essential costs must still be covered.

• Transportation: Mousumi Aktar does not drive, making it difficult to manage daily responsibilities and care for their son.

• Support System: With their extended family in Bogura, Bangladesh, she is facing this tragedy without close family nearby.
