It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of one of Summit View’s own, our sweet Mountain Lion, Sergio Leon. I had the privilege of being his teacher, and I will always remember him as a kind, loving, bright-spirited little boy with so much joy and potential. His life was tragically and unexpectedly cut short, and his family is now navigating an unimaginable loss.

Sergio is survived by his mother, father, baby sister, and a community that loved him deeply. Donations will be graciously received by his parents to support them during this difficult time, helping with any immediate needs and allowing them to focus on healing. More than anything, we want Sergio to be remembered and his beautiful spirit to be known. He will forever live in our hearts.
