My brother, Sam, has always been dedicated to keeping others safe. On January 9th, 2026, while on duty, he was called to address a difficult situation involving an unruly person. When he approached, the situation escalated quickly. The person became aggressive and pushed Sam backwards, causing him to fall and hit his head on the hard floor. This sudden and violent incident resulted in a severe injury, and he is now in the ICU at Harborview Hospital in Seattle, fighting to recover.

The impact of this event has been devastating for Sam and our entire family. Not only is he facing a long and uncertain road to recovery, but he is also dealing with mounting medical bills that are not fully covered by insurance.
