Sean Gregory Maddocks of West College Corner passed away suddenly on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the age of 57. Sean was a man who truly enjoyed working with his hands. In his younger years, he worked in construction and continued to help friends and family for many years as a handyman. Most recently, he worked in the transportation industry, driving the lead car for oversized loads of heavy equipment and machinery.
Sean loved the great outdoors—there was nothing better for him than spending the day with the wind in his hair while riding his Harley Davidson. He also enjoyed kayaking down the Whitewater River or at Brookville Lake with his friends. Sean really just loved the life he had and enjoyed it to the fullest. He had a big heart and would help anyone in need, always ready to lend a hand.
Sean is survived by his sister, Tana Richards, and his stepmother, Gini Maddocks. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gregory and Sharon, and his grandparents. In keeping with Sean’s wishes, he wanted to be cremated. Because of the suddenness of his passing, his family is facing unexpected expenses for cremation and probate court costs. Any support you can give is deeply appreciated and will help ease the financial burden on Tana as she navigates this loss. Thank you for your kindness and for helping honor Sean’s memory.
