Sean Knight has always been the kind of person who puts others first. Whether it’s finding a home for a homeless animal or stepping up for friends in need, his generosity and kindness have touched so many lives. He has been working for 40 years in the hospitality business and not being able to work right now is really difficult for him. Sean is called by many to be one of their closest friends—he has that kind of soul that touches people far and near. His empathy for others is second to none and he always finds a silver lining in all the negative that surrounds us. His positive outlook is inspiring, and his self-motivation and desire to get well have been relentless.

Good news first: Sean’s recent medical scans have shown much promise and we are hoping for continued good news. After his surgery and 6 rounds of chemo, Sean faced an unexpected battle with sepsis. He spent over 10 days in the hospital, but he fought his way back. He is healing beautifully, feeling stronger each day, and preparing to return to work part-time. This recovery didn’t happen alone—the love, messages, and support of so many have meant the world to Sean. Our goal now is to expand the circle of helping hands so Sean can move forward with hope and strength.

Sean’s insurance helped cover most of the hospital bills, but he is still facing a mountain of ongoing medical expenses. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings relief and momentum.
