Support for Scott Fraser's Medical Care

My name is Kelly and I am starting this GoFundMe for my brother-in-law Scott Fraser to provide support and assistance with medical treatment, travel and mobility aids after his recent diagnosis of brain tumors on Saturday April 2nd 2023... This also happened to be Dawn's (my sister/Scott's wife's birthday - not how anyone would choose to celebrate).

Dawn and Scott are proud parents to two children; Riley aka RJ and Maddison aka Maddi; family has been by Scott's side round the clock; as everyone who knows Scott knows that he "doesn't want to be a bother" and wouldn't want to "bother anyone" even if he was in desperate need of help.

Scott is well known in the community for his time as a volunteer Firefighter and Linesman with the power company; both roles often taking him away from his family in order to help someone else's family. Not once did he ever complain about being in call over Christmas, Thanksgiving or being out in the worst imaginable weather; this all because Scott truly cares about others and is willing to sacrifice to ensure others are safe. Not just in our small area in Nova Scotia - weeks away in other Canadian provinces, the USA and Hattie to restore power as part of hurricane relief.

The battle will be long and hard with many ups and downs for the family; however we will stay positive and do all we can to support them all.

It's our turn to help support Scott and his family.
