Scott and Carrie Goss are facing one of the toughest challenges of their lives. Carrie, a dedicated traveling lab tech, has been in the MICU at St. Vincent's since December 6th, battling severe flu pneumonia. Her condition became so serious that doctors had to place her in a medically induced coma, allowing her body the best chance to heal. Just today, she was taken off sedation, and while this is a hopeful step, her journey to recovery is far from over.
Scott, her husband, had just started a new job when Carrie fell ill. Without hesitation, he took immediate leave to be by her side and care for her. Their son, who lives at home and is currently in college, is also doing his best to support the family during this incredibly difficult time. The timing of this crisis, right around the holidays, has made things even more overwhelming for the Goss family.
The financial strain is growing as Scott and Carrie try to keep up with their mortgage and monthly bills while focusing on Carrie's recovery. Your support can help ease this burden and give them the stability they need to get through the weeks ahead. Please consider donating or sharing this post around. Any help, big or small, will make a difference for Scott, Carrie, and their son as they navigate this challenging time together.
