Support for Scott Caldwell

Hello family and friends, and to whomever might come across this. Our brother, Scott Caldwell, needs his community to come around him and his family, to lift them up and to help them get through this unimaginable time of need.

Let me first tell you about my brother, Scott. He’s the guy that would do absolutely anything for you..he can and will fix anything! Scott will give you anything and expect nothing in return. Scott can talk to a stranger for hours, sell you on anything and you will forever be changed. Scott’s unconditional love for his family and for his friends is something we all strive for.

For those who don’t know, a year and a half ago, Scott had to have open heart surgery to repair an abdominal aortic aneurysm. Scott recovered well from his surgery but later began to encounter complications. In the last few months, Scott became very sick and has been in and out of the hospital. On January 2nd, Scott felt something was not right in his chest and was rushed to the emergency room. What Scott and Anna soon found out, was the unimaginable. Scott had a marble sized hole in his aorta and he was emergently taken to the operating room to have a second open heart surgery. The surgery was successful and Scott is at home recovering.

It has been a long year and a half for Scott and his family. Countless hospitalizations and Scott has not been able to work. Scott has a long recovery ahead of him. His life has now forever changed. Due to his multiple open heart surgeries, he will be on a lifting restriction and medications that will change his working career.
