Scott is my brother, and he recently lost his beloved wife, Theresa Elwood. They were married for almost 35 years and shared a deep, loving bond as best friends and soulmates. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Brandy and Caleb, and built a life filled with love and devotion. Theresa was the heart of their family, and her sudden passing has left a void that words cannot describe.

Just days ago, both Theresa and their son Caleb were battling a virus. Scott, who has COPD, was doing his best to avoid getting sick and urged Theresa to seek medical help because her breathing was getting worse. While Scott was at my house washing clothes and trying to stay safe, he received the devastating news that an ambulance had arrived at their home. Despite his efforts and concern, Theresa passed away unexpectedly, leaving Scott and their children heartbroken and overwhelmed.

Scott is an over the road truck driver and has always been the provider for his family. Now, as he takes time off work to handle funeral arrangements and grieve, there will be no income coming in. On top of this, the family did not have health insurance, so the medical bills are mounting quickly. The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses, pay for medical bills, and provide some support for Scott and his children as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
