Austin and Hali Younger are close friends of ours that have had a life changing week. Their son, Sawyer, was diagnosed with cancer last Wednesday which also happened to be his first birthday. On a day they should have been celebrating, they received news that turned their lives upside down. As parents, they are now facing the unimaginable: navigating hospital visits, chemo treatments, and the emotional toll of caring for a sick child, all while trying to be there for their 4-year-old son as well.

Both Austin and Hali will be taking time off work to be by Sawyer’s side throughout his treatment. This means their family is not only facing mounting medical bills, but also the challenge of covering everyday living expenses without their usual income. The stress of finances should be the last thing on their minds as they focus on helping Sawyer heal and supporting each other through this journey.
