Support for Saul Navarro's Family After ICE Arrest

On January 7, 2026, my cousin Ivette Moreno husband, Saul Navarro, was arrested by ICE at his construction job in Minnesota. ICE agents broke windows at the worksite and detained Saul, his brother, and several others. Since then, Saul has been moved from Minnesota to El Paso, and his family has not been able to speak with him. He is the sole provider for his wife Ivette their three children, and his sudden absence has left the family in a state of fear and uncertainty.

His wife, who has been married to Saul for 16 years, is unable to work because of her own immigration status. She is terrified to leave the house, worried that she could also be detained and leave her children—ages 15, 12, and 2—without either parent. The older children are scared to go to school, afraid that their mom might not be there when they return. Saul's children miss him deeply and want nothing more than to have their father back home with them. The family is struggling to cover basic living expenses and is facing mounting legal costs as they try to bring Saul home and keep the family together.

I know that many immigrant families in Minnesota are facing similar hardships right now, and I understand that this is a big ask. But I hope you can find it in your heart to help my cousin and her children during this devastating time. Your support will help them cover essential needs and legal expenses, so the family can stay together and the children can feel safe. Please consider helping this family in their time of need.
