Hi everyone,
I wanted to share some news about my sister-in-law,Sarah, and ask for some love and support as she faces one of the biggest challenges of her life.
A few months ago, she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of uterine sarcoma. The news came out of nowhere and hit hard. She’s now beginning an intense course of chemotherapy, and as anyone who’s walked this path knows, it takes everything—physically, emotionally, and financially.
She’s a mom to a bright and kind-hearted 8-year-old daughter, and she and her husband have always worked hard to build a stable life for their family. Both incomes are essential to keeping their home running, and with her unable to work during treatment, that’s become a serious struggle.
What makes this even more heartbreaking is that she was finally in a good place. After facing more than her fair share of life’s hardships, she was just beginning to feel like she could breathe again—finding a bit of peace and joy, which makes this diagnosis feel especially cruel.
But if you know her, you know she’s tough. She’s been through hell before and made it out. She’s facing this with incredible strength and grace, even when the days are hard and unfair.
Right now, we’re focusing on getting her through treatment, one step at a time. If you’re reading this, please keep her in your thoughts. If you’re someone who prays, send a few up for healing, strength, and peace. And if you’re able to help in any way—whether it’s dropping off a meal, helping with childcare, or offering financial support—it would mean the world.
Thank you for walking with us through this. We’ll keep posting updates here so you can follow along.
