Support for Sarah After Double Robbery

Donation protected
On a Sunday morning, my little sister arrived at her new house to get it ready for new doors with secure locks only to find that the lock on her existing door had been cut. We had been through something like this before, as children, and it is terrifying to relive that. She called our dad and they looked around. The new, electronic locks that she was going to have installed that day were gone, and so was the air conditioning unit that she needed to be able to work in the July heat in a house with little airflow.

Insurance wouldn't pay because the value of the items was not enough to file a claim.

Our dad and a family friend installed the new doors and Sarah made sure they were locked every time she left. Six days later she arrived to find the door open again, and her second A/C unit gone.

Sarah has been so excited about this house. She talks about it as a "fresh start" after a trying period in her life. To have it robbed twice in a single week has been devastating.

Please help us replace was was taken, secure the house, and move Sarah into the home she has worked so hard to make.

$300 will cover the alarms on her windows and doors, as well as a future camera and motion-activated lights.
$1,300 will allow her to replace the items that were stolen.
$3,500 will allow her to finish remodeling the space and move in.
