Hi all, my name is Jessi. As many of you may know, my niece Carly was involved in a tragic car accident Sunday evening, while swerving to avoid hitting a deer. Her passing has left our family heartbroken to say the least. We find comfort in knowing she was met in heaven by loved ones who welcomed her. Carly was intelligent, strong, and naturally beautiful. She was athletic, mechanically inclined, and never afraid to get her hands dirty. She lived life her own way—fiercely loyal, honest, funny, and incredibly giving, with a gentle heart and a deep love for animals and nature.
She had many passions—reading, music, laughter. She could shred on her skateboard and loved spending time outdoors, and being with her dog, Roscoe. She talked of becoming a veterinarian, had recently considered the military, and was even exploring tattooing. Carly cherished her traditions—trips to North Carolina searching for gemstones, antiquing with her Nana, and time at the beach, which was her peace. She loved fishing, sunshine, and never turned down crab legs. She was drawn to all shades of blue. Her personality lit up every room in its own unique way.
She leaves behind a heartbroken family and many friends, so many I wish I could mention them all. Her mother Sarah, whom she spent special times working on art projects and propagating plants with, her older brother Caleb, and her younger brother Cameron, her “mini,” who adored her deeply. Their bond was unbreakable. Her physical absence will leave a hole in all of us forever, but we know her soul will be all around us daily. The loss of Carly at such a young age is unimaginable. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.
I am starting this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden on my sister, and her boys in the difficult days ahead. We understand times are hard for many. If you’re unable to donate, we are deeply grateful for your thoughts, prayers, and support. Thank you all for your love. ~Jessi & Family ~
