Support for Sara with Loss of Fiance Scott Snead
On September 1st, 2021, after a few painful years of battling Crohn’s Disease and related medical procedures, Scott Snead tragically passed away at 26 years old. He leaves behind many loving friends and family, including his fiancé, Sara. Scott’s close circle are dealing with the grief of his loss as well as the financial burden of related expenses.
Scott tragically ended his life due to the immense pain that was caused by his disease. He was a kind and sensitive person who struggled with depression for many years and was not able to seek adequate help. His fiancé, Sara was the one who discovered him in their home.
Scott and Sara had been dreaming of the life they would live and recently purchased their first house together. With the sudden loss of her partner, Sara will need assistance in the coming weeks making her mortgage, bills, covering grief therapy, and other expenses. She will also be in need of travel funds to cover his wish of having his ashes spread in Arizona, a place where he truly felt free.
Sara has worked in community arts in Chattanooga, Tennessee for the past five years and has passionately dedicated herself to supporting and working with artists, creatives, and young people. As she recently started a new job, paid leave is unavailable to her. Sara wants to express her deepest gratuity for any assistance from our community during this time as she transitions into a radically different life.
