Help support Santi Perez and his parents Susan and Rene Perez as they live through this devastating news and unexpected costs. Referred to as a prodigy by his directors, Santi is an accomplished composer and musician with a bright future ahead. With support from family, friends, and the community, Santi will continue to receive the best medical care and be able to quickly return to Texas State’s School of Music and pursue his dream of becoming a composer.

April 2025 – Turned 18
May 2025 – Graduated San Marcos High School as a the Section Leader for Drumline
August – Started school at Texas State University
October 5, 2025 – Performed with Texas State Symphony Orchestra
October 5, 2025 – Rushed to ER for problems breathing.
Diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblasatic Leukemia.
October 10, 2025 – Begins treatment at Dell Children's Hospital
Santi is an 18 yr old Blue Dahlia Bistro employee and local San Martian, Santi Perez.
