HELP needed to get caught up with Bills

I don't normally ask for financial assistance, even during our most challenging times. But now, I'm in dire need of any help you can provide for my Sandy's sudden veterinary expenses.

For those who don't know, Sandy came into our lives at a time when we were not only unemployed but also still grieving the loss of my mother. Sandy soon became my emotional support cat, but not before she had to overcome her own health issues. When we adopted her, she came with severe burn marks and missing fur along the right side of her body. She also had a severe infection in her hind leg with a scar running from hip to foot.

We had a rescue pull her from NYC's dreadful ACC where she was slated for euthanasia.

Fast forward to 2019 when she was first diagnosed with mild IBD. Two ultrasounds, four years apart, revealed no masses.

She was placed on Prednisolone last November and she has been doing really well on it.

Throughout, she has never acted sick or lethargic. In fact, she's been more playful than ever with the healthiest appetite too.

Then suddenly this morning, 7/6/24, I noticed she was having difficulty breathing. I rushed her to the ER vet and apparently, she has lymphatic fluid in her chest. official diagnosis is now Chylothorax possibly caused by a Tumor near her Colon. If she makes it through all fluid removals, she may need Surgery as well as additional lifetime treatment such as chemo.

I'm just not ready to let her go but I also have a mortgage and house expenses now.
