Hi everyone, I am writing this on behalf of our dear friends, the Prokofi family. Yesterday, while enjoying a day snowboarding with her children, Sandra Prokofi was in a terrible accident. She was found unresponsive by her son and was immediately airlifted via Flight for Life to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood. As of today, she is undergoing critical surgery for a severed spine (C2, C3, and C4 vertebrae). The doctors are doing everything they can, but the prognosis is uncertain. If she survives, she is facing a life-changing road to recovery and likely paralysis.

Sandra and her husband are the proud owners of Hardwood Floor Pro here in town. They have six beautiful children—five boys and a baby girl. As small business owners, when a tragedy like this strikes, the world stops. Not only are they facing astronomical medical bills for the airlift and surgery, but the family also needs immediate support to keep their household running and their business afloat while they focus on Sandra’s survival.

We are asking the community to rally around this family. Any amount helps cover medical deductibles, travel costs to the hospital, and basic needs for the six children.
