Dear friends and kind-hearted strangers,

I'm reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Sandra, who is going through an incredibly difficult time right now. Sandra is a devoted mother to her daughters and her 13-year-old son. Recently, the father of her children passed away unexpectedly. This heartbreaking loss has deeply affected Sandra and her entire family.

Sandra had to take time off work to grieve and handle the arrangements, but unfortunately, her employer does not provide bereavement pay. This means she lost a full week of income during a time when her expenses unexpectedly increased. She also covered travel expenses for her daughter to fly in from out of state so the family could be together and support one another.

As if all of this weren't enough, Sandra is now without transportation due to a flat tire and urgently needs help getting her vehicle back on the road.

Sandra has always been the kind of person to show up for others, and now she needs our support. We are asking for any help—large or small—to assist with lost wages, end of life expenses, travel costs, and car repairs.
