A fellow Canterburian and friend, Sandi, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer, a life-changing event that has turned her world upside down. She has always been a strong and caring person, but this diagnosis has brought unexpected challenges that no one should have to face alone. For the past three months, Sandi has been unable to work due to her illness and is currently waiting for disability assistance to begin. She is not receiving treatment as the cancer has progressed too far and is now on hospice care, focusing on comfort and quality of life. This has made it incredibly difficult for her to keep up with everyday living expenses, adding financial stress to an already overwhelming situation.

If you live in the community, you may know Sandi from her years of service at Better Value or Cumberland Farms, or perhaps you encountered her at Canterbury Cat Hospital, where she helped care for so many beloved pets. Sandi is a fellow Canterburian who you likely have met or maybe have already known. She has always been there for others, and now she needs our support more than ever.
