Jen left a footprint on the heart of everyone who met her. She was a spitfire, kind, helpful, genuine, witty, and smart. Jen worked at Vassar for 9 years as a float nurse, cross trained to specialty units, and specialized in nephrology her last two years as a nurse practitioner. She was a dedicated mother, wife, and friend. She was diagnosed in the beginning of the year with an aggressive cancer and leaves behind her loving husband and two children who are 9 and 7 years old. Jen touched the lives of everyone who met her. She continued to work full time at the hospital despite her diagnosis through the summer with her strong will and determination.
