Supporting Sam Richardson Get Back on Her Feet

Sam was severely injured in a vehicle accident, on January 5th.  She was a passenger in the backseat when the vehicle she was in, was hit in the rear.  She was taken to Jefferson Hospital and has already gone through several surgeries.  Sam is severally injured from her waist down to her toes.  It may be awhile before she is back on her feet.

At home, Sam and her family care for their horses and dogs, leaving her family no choices, but to travel back and forth from home to the hospital.  This means they will incur many expenses that will not be covered by health insurance.  Such as, travel and food expenses, high parking fees at the hospital, missed time at work and possible modifications to their home to make it accessible, etc.  The family is not sure yet what additional expenses they may encounter or what support is needed.  It is unknown how long Sam will be in the hospital at this time, but it will more than likely be greater than a month.
